What do you care?
Two things are happening at dime-co.com, that may affect your articles:
1) I've removed most ads from the site - we're revising our strategies and changing the ads that appear. Now they're much more targeted, and much LESS on a page.
2) We've rebuilt it, but I've tweaked the design even more, and it is already live. (The front page is being updated momentarily). We're plugging in the last part of the featured front page, and we're updating the article submissions. All other aspects have been rebuilt.
We want your featured articles!
After having many people request the ability to have their articles approved at a faster rate, plus the fact that we wanted to remove most of the ads from the site, we've now created a Priority Author account!
Effective immediately, if you become a "Priority Author", your articles will be approved almost as fast as you submit them ;).
Here's the nitty gritty for your articles:
As a "Priority Featured Author" you get:
Articles approved in under 1-2
business days (typically less than 6 hours depending on the time of day you submit. Articles are generally not approved on legal holidays or
weekends (but may be if we choose to).
- Your articles are featured above
all free/guest articles, plus spotlighted, we'll even put a graphic at the start to emphasize it.
- New Featured Categories have been created
so that you always have first visibility. ONLY Priority authors can submit to these featured categories, and all featured categories
will be linked in the new design's menu.
- You get a private log in so you
can directly submit them easily - and yes, you can include Pen Names if you wish.
- Editing Assistance included where
needed - Typically, when an author submits an article that violates our guidelines (i.e., all caps in title, bad formatting, spelling errors), we
usually delete them. However, Priority Authors don't have to worry about that (within reason!). If there are minor adjustments needed, like
spacing, occasional missed spelling mistakes, formatting tweaks, we'll do it for you! Don't worry, we'll never change your words/sentences.
And obviously we will not reformat every single article (by that time you should get it right). But we understand that hey, sometimes we all miss a
mistake - even spell checkers miss them if it's a common word (i.e., their, there or they're, or its vs it's).
When we review free articles, we quick-scan them and they get an immediate decision (often the delete button). However, Priority Authors will have us read through and ensure your article is approved. *Note, they still must meet our guidelines of not being spammy (blatant ad pitch), or a topic that does not violate our acceptance guidelines*. In those cases, your article would be rejected.
- IF an article is rejected - we will give
you the reasons why and what to do to correct it. (Free/Guest authors are never notified if their articles are rejected.) The fact is, this is very
unlikely to happen with our editing assistance as stated above!
- You can pre-schedule articles if
you wish them to be approved at a certain time frame. i.e., if you have a press release, but you don't want it to be live prior to say 5 days from
now, you can simply change the date to 5 days ahead. We'll approve it on that day. **This feature is not available to free/guest authors. Any
free/guest author who does this has their articles immediately deleted.** (You can ignore the warning in the site as you'll have priority status).
- YES You can include affiliate links - *within reason*. We allow a maximum of 3-4 links in the entire document. (We prefer them in the Sig
file, but sometimes people do link to sites for a reason in the body of the article). Please don't abuse this though otherwise it will be stopped.
** Exception ** if you have an article that compares sites/features (i.e., 3 or 4 different software programs that do the same thing), or your article is on say the "top 10 social networking sites", then yes, obviously you can put in additional links without risking deletion.
- Almost Ad Free! Yes, your article pages will
have minimal other ads on them (if at all)! By being a priority / featured author, we respect that you are obviously looking to promote either your own site or a
product you recommend (typically). For that reason, we are creating a special, exclusive page to you, which includes minimal OR NO ads! And we'll let you
place *your own* ads in the page.
- YOUR Subscribe/Opt In Box! Yes, your article pages can have YOUR opt in boxes on them! We'll create a special "Author Topic" per author, which you simply need to provide us with your opt in box, and it will appear on ALL of your article pages!
- Submit Video articles included! YES
you can submit video AND text articles together if you wish! Video articles are a new feature we're promoting, and we'd love to spotlight yours!
One note: these are specifically for videos that you have hosted on your own site or other site such as Youtube or Amazon etc. If you need us to
host the videos directly, there is an additional $5/mo charge for bandwith/hosting.
- Your articles will be spotlighted
both on the appropriate category page and in rotation on the front page every month!
- All articles remain on the site for one year or more! (We have over 50,000 articles, and many have been there for up to 2 years).
- Add keywords to your articles to improve search engine rankings! This is a
feature we do NOT allow free/guest articles to utilize. (We delete any keywords guest authors submit because most abuse it).
- (Coming momentarily) Have the ability to see exactly how many people have viewed your articles. This
will be plugged into the site shortly.
- (Coming momentarily) Special private forum and support desk for article authors so that
you can connect with others, suggest new features, but additionally get fast, private support directly from me. You'll have direct contact with me
immediately - however the forum will be up shortly. The support desk is now live.
- And of course there will be more, but let's get your account in and running, shall we?
There are two options you can choose - and neither are long term, you aren't forced to pay for a year, simply cancel any time if you wish. (Please remember, these are non-refundable as the service is given).
Simply choose the level you want, and then submit payment.
Guidelines
- Content not accepted: Please do not submit articles related to: adult/pornographic in nature (sexually descriptive, i.e., sex toys is a "no",
but lingerie is okay if it is informational and ONLY in the shopping/clothing category), hate/racism (obviously), religious, psychic/magic/witchcraft/hypnotherapy (our choice), and of course, no blatant
pitches (ads that look like articles but are hyped up ads). Online Dating is an iffy subject (Google notified us they don't want it on our site because we're "family" rated, so it likely won't be approved either.
- You are free to cancel your monthly billing at any time - however, please note that refunds will not be processed (as with any site,
cancellation needs to be done at least 24 hours PRIOR to your next payment to come out). This is a service and therefore, non-refundable.
- If at a time you cancel your monthly billing, all articles will revert to free status and site-wide ads will be replaced back on the pages.

I want to be a Priority Featured
Author - I'm responding immediately and locking in my rate at just $27 a month! (Warning, space is limited at this price.)
I understand I can cancel at any time, but that being a Priority Featured Author allows me:
- Priority approval, my articles are approved within 1-2 business days (but usually faster!)
- My articles are above all free/guest submissions
- My articles are on new featured category topics
- A Private log in so I can submit directly to the topics I choose
- Editing assistance in case I miss a mistake or need some help
- Explanations in case my article is rejected, but I understand with the editing assistance, this likely won't even happen!
- The ability to preschedule articles for a specific date, which is perfect if I have promotions pre-planned
- I can include affiliate links without the risk of being banned or declined
- My articles won't have any other ads on the page, unless I choose to have mine there!
- My articles can have my own subscribe/opt in box built right into the category page!
- Video articles! I understand I'm allowed to include unlimited video articles as long as they are embedded from another site.
- Featured promotion of my articles both on the category pages as I submit them, as well as in rotation, being promoted on the front page of the site!
- Built in social networking features plus specialized attention will be given to my articles by Amber to drive traffic to them
