Summer Business Tips
——————–

Summer is always a slow time on the internet, but you should remember something important: just because it’s a little “slow”, doesn’t mean you should stop your promotions.

Here’s 7 things you can do to ensure you’re ahead of the pack right now:

1. Promote your site(s) anyway. You’ll surpass those ignoring their promotions.

2. Write some quick articles and submit them (i.e., at http://www.dime-co.com ;) and other directories. Search engines love articles… but don’t forget to include your website link in your sig file.

3. Take 15 minutes (or more) and think seriously about what you want to accomplish for the rest of the year. I’m not talking just about how much you want to make, but on how you are going to get there.

4. Write up a list of sites, concepts or ideas you have that you could launch in the coming months to help you achieve your goals.

5. Participate in forums, share your knowledge with others, ask questions, but just remember: some will have things to sell every other day, and it can be addicting. (Just like daily deals).

6. Remember, regardless of what some claim, it does take money to make money. Just be sure that when you spend it, it’s on an ebook, course, product or service that will help your business, not just take you in other directions.

7. Gear up for fall! (Many others are snoozing right now, you’ll be so far ahead of them, already turning profits while they’re just returning to it in September).

So remember, summer is fun, it has its place (heck, we all need a break sometime), but don’t take “too” much time off.

Experimental fun
—————-

I’m working on a few experiments (marketing of course) over the next couple of weeks, some involving online, others involving offline/ consulting, daily deals, etc.

You can follow along with what I’m doing and get the end results so you can implement as well, simply by reading our newsletter issues each week.

After all, this is the time for summer fun right?

Updates & Alerts
—————-

We’re just about complete on the update/makeover to dime-co.com for the older system. Most of the pages have been switched to the new look (except the front page yet). Just making a few final tweaks, and then the front page will be replaced with its new format, new videos, etc.

Well that’s it for this issue of our newsletter.

Feel free to give us feedback or make suggestions!
